All data generated by Flames Stock is stored locally on your Android device using SQLite database technology. This includes:
- Product inventory (names, barcodes, prices, quantities, categories, descriptions)
- Sales and order history
- Category information
- Currency settings and exchange rates
- App preferences and settings
- Security PIN (encrypted)
3.2 Data Security Measures
We implement the following security measures to protect your data:
- PIN Protection: Access to the app is secured with a user-defined PIN code
- Biometric Authentication: Optional fingerprint or face recognition for enhanced security
- Encrypted Storage: Sensitive data like your security PIN is stored in encrypted form
- No Network Access: The app does not require internet connectivity, eliminating remote access risks
3.3 Data Ownership
You retain complete ownership and control of all your data. The data stored on your device belongs exclusively to you, and you can:
- Export your data to Excel format at any time
- Delete all data from within the app settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all associated data
- Back up your data using your device's backup solutions
4. Permissions We Request
Flames Stock requests the following Android permissions to provide its core functionality:
4.1 Storage Permission
Purpose: Required to save Excel export files to your device's Downloads folder and to import Excel files.
What we access: Only the files you explicitly choose to import or the location where you want to save exports.
What we don't do: We do not scan, read, or access any other files on your device.
4.2 Camera Permission
Purpose: Required for barcode scanning functionality to quickly add or identify products.
What we access: Camera feed only when you actively use the barcode scanner feature.
What we don't do: We do not take photos, record videos, or access your camera in the background. Images are processed in real-time for barcode detection only.
4.3 Biometric Permission (Optional)
Purpose: To enable fingerprint or face unlock as an alternative to PIN entry.
What we access: We only verify authentication status from Android's secure biometric system.
What we don't do: We do not store, process, or access your actual biometric data (fingerprints or facial data).
5. Data Export and Sharing
5.1 Excel Export Feature
Flames Stock allows you to export your inventory and sales data to Excel format. When you use this feature:
- Files are saved to your device's Downloads folder
- Files are named with readable format: FlamesStock_Export_YYYY-MM-DD_HHMM.xlsx
- No copies are sent to any servers or third parties
- You have complete control over what you do with these exported files
5.2 User-Initiated Sharing
If you choose to share your exported Excel files via email, cloud storage, or other means, that action is entirely under your control and is not initiated or monitored by Flames Stock.
6. No Internet Connectivity Required
Flames Stock is designed to work completely offline. The app:
- Does not require an internet connection for any core functionality
- Does not send or receive any data over the network
- Does not check for updates automatically
- Does not communicate with any servers
This offline-first design ensures maximum privacy and data security, as your information never leaves your device.
7. Children's Privacy
Flames Stock does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. In fact, we don't collect any information from users of any age. The app is designed for business use and is generally not intended for children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Significant changes will be communicated through the app store listing
- Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

10. Data Retention
Data is retained on your device for as long as you choose to keep it. We do not have any data retention policies because we don't have access to your data. You can:
- Delete individual products, orders, or categories at any time
- Use the "Clear All Data" option to remove all app data
- Uninstall the app to completely remove all associated data
11. Third-Party Services
Flames Stock does not integrate with, use, or rely on any third-party services, SDKs, or libraries that could access your data. The app is completely self-contained and independent.
12. International Users
Flames Stock can be used anywhere in the world. Since all data is stored locally on your device and no information is transmitted to any servers, there are no international data transfer concerns.
13. Business Transfers
In the unlikely event that WebFlames or Flames Stock is acquired by or merged with another company, this privacy policy will continue to apply. Since we don't collect or store any user data on our servers, there would be no user data to transfer in such a scenario.
